Why are we talking about menopause now?
Our Company is committed to creating a menopause friendly workplace, helping everyone be the very best they can be.

Symptoms women say affect them most at work *

That’s why we’re getting expert advice from Henpicked, a community of women that promotes healthy debate to bring about positive change for women. And as well as encouraging employees to use our working adjustments passport, we’re running menopause awareness training online for all our employees with some additional training available specifically for line managers. Our ‘Pause for Thought’ Employee Resource Group also provides an open environment for women and men to share their personal experiences and information.
Menopause has been a taboo subject for far too long. With three in four women experiencing a wide range of symptoms, we will all be touched by it - if not ourselves, then as partners, sons and daughters, friends, colleagues and line managers. It’s important that we’re able to have open, respectful conversations about menopause so nobody feels they have to suffer in silence, or mask what they’re going through Simon Lister, MD Naval Ships and BAE Systems’ sponsor for gender (in the UK and Rest of World)
