Within BAE Systems, we have two routes for undergraduates:
- Our 12 month industrial placement
- Our 12 week summer placement
Both of these programmes will give the experience of working on real-life projects and the opportunity to build your knowledge of our business from the inside.
To join us on an internship or summer placement, you’ll typically be in your penultimate year at University, however, we also consider applications from alternative years of study. A high percentage of our placement students go on to join us as permanent employees. If the placement is successful we may make you a job offer up to a year in advance of your final qualifications, leaving you safe in the knowledge that you’ll have a job when you graduate.
We aim to keep the internships and summer placements as close to what you’d get out of a role with us as possible. You’ll have access to training, as well as business forums and networking events. You’ll also receive a formal review from your project manager, and can be sure of high levels of support from colleagues across the company.
