Adrian is a business development director with 30 years’ experience at BAE Systems and Detica. He is responsible for leading key international strategic campaigns and ensuring that the business development function at Digital Intelligence operates effectively and efficiently.
 
Over the years he has held a number of senior roles within the BAE Systems business, including creating Detica’s international business following the BAE Systems acquisition; developing the big data analytics business; running business development globally and leading the organisation’s focus on national cyber security solutions for governments.
 
Adrian’s early career was in the Computer Science Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Parallel Software Group. He joined Detica (then called Smith Associates) in 1992 focusing on high-performance computing solutions for intelligence and defence.
 
He progressed to leading business development at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, before being appointed Director of Strategic Growth at Digital Intelligence in 2022.
 
He is married with two grown-up daughters and is soon to become a Grandpa. He is a keen sea angler and enjoys reading historical fiction.
