We’ll collaborate with you to extend your footprint, whilst also enabling you to increase your scope through the incremental value our products and services can bring. Ultimately we want any relationship between BAE Systems and our partners to expand the proposition to the end-user.

The partner programme has been designed with this in mind with all the various elements focused on addressing how, collectively, we can increase customer satisfaction in existing clients as well as using the programme to win additional clients.

Simplification – By working together, what can be a complicated sales-cycle can be simplified and shortened. Lengthy proof-of-concept or testing work for example can be shortened if we combine knowledge and products to address a wider issue.  

Increasing value – There is incremental value to the end-user when two companies not only integrate elements of their portfolios, but also understand the other party’s solutions. A wider knowledge of a combined capability provides greater value to the customer. The client receives greater clarity, better service and enhanced value for money.

Speed to market – Collaboration means recommendations can be made and time saved. Collaboration can also mean pre-tested or pre-integrated products, and, if the partnership is longstanding, even pre-designed or pre-engineered to work together. Having the ability to avoid at least an element of the often time-consuming pre-sales activity will provide systems to the customer more quickly and effectively.

Market Reach – By working together, we will have the ability to extend reach, explore new marketplaces and help new customers previously beyond our individual ranges.

Go-to-Market Support – BAE systems will provide planning and strategy guidance for go-to-market activity.  We’ll provide corporate collateral and branding for you to use to reach out to wider audiences or increase duration of activity.  We’ll also provide planning and strategy documentation to help shape ideas and maintain business momentum.

Allocated Partner Manager – BAE systems realises the new relationship needs focus. We will appoint a Partner Manager to manage the relationship, provide you with overall support and work with you to develop the relationship. The Partner Manager’s responsibility will be to assist you with overall strategy and business planning, go-to-market activity, sales engagement and management, opportunity reporting as required and assistance with navigation around the wider BAE Systems business.
Enablement  Fundamental to successful partnering is product knowledge. BAE Systems products perform critical roles in a client’s IT infrastructure, so the highest levels of skills and competencies are essential for successful project role-out.

BAE Systems has a range of support materials available to help partners up-skill on our product range, from both a sales and technical perspective. Partners receive a link to access this collateral to help you build your in-house skills. For more specific requirements, further arrangements can be made via your Partner Manager.

Through a comprehensive understanding of our product range, the client sees the investment partners have put in to make their BAE Systems business a success – to skill up necessary resources, build up knowledge and to build strength in depth.  Partners will be able to provide BAE Systems products and services to approved standards of sales and delivery.
