Both the South Coast and the Bristol Channel are close by too, so surfers, sailors and resolute landlubbers are all well catered for.
Our base is west of town, just off the A3088, where we provide a workplace that supports our culture, with facilities that enable our people to deliver great work in a relaxed and creative environment. The town is well connected with train lines running to London and Bristol, and enjoys excellent local public transport services.
Yeovil lies below the Somerset Levels, with the green hills of Dorset to the south, and the Mendips to the north. With all the facilities of a bustling town, including shopping centres, parks, cinemas, and leisure centres, it’s also a great base to explore the rural treasures of both Somerset and Dorset. Woodlands, rolling hills and moors, glorious seaside and chocolate box villages and towns are all within easy reach.
Whilst nearby towns were built on the back of the wool trade, Yeovil made its name as a centre for glove making, a heritage reflected in the nickname of the local football team - the ‘Glovers’. Good value for a cup upset or two, they are, like Yeovil itself, full of surprises.
