BAE Systems

Coronavirus update – recruitment for positions requiring experience

In line with the UK Government’s developing guidance for the Covid-19 pandemic and in support of social distancing, we have been reviewing the management of our recruitment activity. We will continue to keep this under constant review.

In order to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone, we will now be conducting interviews remotely. Candidates will be contacted by their recruitment advisor to make these arrangements.  If you subsequently require any adjustments to the interview process described to you please raise this with your recruitment advisor.

Start dates and on-boarding arrangements may also change and your recruitment advisor will inform you of any relevant changes.

We thank you in advance for your understanding as we adjust to this unprecedented situation.

At BAE Systems you can be proud of what you do, how you do it and who you do it with. We work hard to create an inclusive, dynamic and rewarding environment where you are inspired to achieve remarkable things and make a difference where it really counts.

    The people

We’re united by trust, camaraderie and a shared ambition to lead the world in our field and those joining the UK company can join a number of inclusive and friendly groups run by employees for employees. These include groups for veterans, women in the workplace and for colleagues wanting support with their wellbeing and mental health.

    • EnabledUK is our employee-run group that offers support to disabled (both visible and non-visible) employees. And OutLinkUK is specifically for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender, Queer/Questioning and Others (LGBTQ+) colleagues, but it’s open to anyone to be part of, however they identify themselves. Both EnabledUK and OutLinkUK work closely with BAE Systems’ leadership teams to ensure all businesses across the UK promote equality and inclusion, and implement measures to improve and consistently maintain an inclusive and accessible environment for all employees.

    • In addition, those interested in promoting and engaging young people in science, technology, engineering and maths can join the STEM Ambassador programme.
