This twelve-month placement will see you gaining invaluable experience in the real world. You’ll be working alongside some of the top professionals in their field. Taking your place as part of the team in one of our UK businesses, you’ll share in the everyday challenges, develop new skills and acquire a fascinating insight into our business. In turn you could even secure a place on one of our graduate schemes. Our range of one-year placements are offered in business, engineering or finance:
Business: Our business placements are integral to our ability to deliver successful projects and vary each year depending on where we need your skills to make the most impact.
Engineering: Cutting-edge innovations and world leading technological developments are the foundation of our business and as a result, we always have a wide range of engineering placements available.
Finance: In finance, you won’t just be working on the financial aspects of some of the most exciting projects in defence, aerospace and engineering, you’ll also be working and learning from some of the most accomplished professionals in their fields.

What You’ll Need
To join our Industrial Placement scheme you must be on course to achieve at least a 2:1 Bachelors degree in a relevant subject. For finance opportunities you must also have plus 112 UCAS points - new tariff (or equivalent excluding General Studies).
Although the academic requirements are important, we also want you to see opportunity where others see problems and think around challenges that others can't navigate. You'll use the resources at your fingertips and the skills you’ll develop to collaborate with your team and find solutions to real life problems.

Closing date: We opened for applications from 1st September 2017, the closing date for a number of our Industrial Placement roles has now been extended to 31st January 2018 however where sufficient applications have been received roles will close earlier therefore early application is advised.
