No, we have a wide range of opportunities across our Business, Information Technology, Finance, Cyber Security and Consulting teams. You don't need an engineering degree to apply for an engineering role, if you have a mathematical or scientific degree check the role profiles to see if you'd be eligible to apply.
We ask that you only make an application to one programme per academic year. Take some time to think about which will best suit your skills and ambitions.
Under immigration rules, BAE Systems has a very limited ability to sponsor visas that allow for work in the UK. We do consider exceptional candidates on a case by case basis.
All of our programmes offer a competitive salary and lots of other benefits like product and service discounts and generous time off. Starting salaries for our graduate programmes are £34,000, as well as a £2,000 welcome payment and from £22,000 for our undergraduate programmes.

The application process consists of the following: a short online application; qualification review; online assessment where you will have the chance to complete gamification and an on-demand video interview; and a competency based interview.
If you are successful to be offered a role, this will be subject to appropriate medical, security and qualification clearance checks.
If you’re unsuccessful first-time round, you’re welcome to try again. You can submit one application each academic year.
Our accelerate graduate programme is non-rotational and offers career acceleration in one area of the business in which you’ll specialise. Think carefully about which part of the business you want to start your journey in. There may be opportunities to move to a different area during the programme if it fits with your development and the needs of the business.
If you are accepted onto the finance accelerate programme this scheme is UK-flexible and you will work across multiple business areas.
Our graduate programmes are UK-based so opportunities to work abroad are rare. In some cases when an international role fits with your development and the needs of the business you may get the chance to work in a different country. However, many of our graduate alumni work internationally following their programme completion.
