Graduate Programmes

Specialise in a business or engineering discipline of interest. Our graduate programmes vary by duration and the outcome, some are designed to develop the technical experts and business specialists, whilst others are designed to develop managers at an accelerated pace, resulting in a leadership role. The level at which you will exit is varied by the programme. To apply for a graduate programme, you will need a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a subject related to your chosen area of work.

Finance Accelerate Programme

The Finance Accelerate Programme is a three-year scheme with three placements where you’ll also be supported in obtaining your Chartered Accountancy qualification. To apply for the Finance Accelerate Programme, you’ll need a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree including 120 UCAS points or equivalent.

Digital Intelligence Future Talent

Consultancy, project management and engineering roles for graduates and undergraduates with an interest in cyber security, your Digital Intelligence journey begins with our dedicated Start @AI programme. A number of development activities are on offer, all aimed at accelerating your success. Once you’ve finished the programme, you’ll choose a specialist area and begin a role as an Digital Intelligence professional. To apply for the Digital Intelligence programme, you will need a 2:2 Bachelor's degree including 128 UCAS points or equivalent.

Industrial Placement

1 year undergraduate scheme. There’s no need to wait until you graduate to start your career, we offer an invaluable insight into working life. Placements are offered across a wealth of areas including business and finance, consultancy, project management, and engineering. To apply for the Industrial Placements, you will ideally be on course for a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a related subject. In addition, for cyber security roles, you'll need 128 UCAS points or equivalent. If you're interested in a finance placement, you should be expected at least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree, as well as 120 UCAS points or equivalent (excluding AS Levels and General Studies).

Insight Experiences

A 2 day insight experience. Join us to find out what a career at BAE Systems is really like. You’ll hear from a range of inspiring colleagues who’ll share their career journeys, how their work is making a real difference and how you can make an impact here too. To apply, you must be currently studying a relevant degree, be in your first or second year (or third year if you’re on a 4 year degree course) and be on course to achieve at least a 2:2.
