Would you like to play a key role in the design and development of submarines? We currently have vacancies for Engineers, Senior Engineers, Principal Engineers and Engineering Managers at our site near England's distinguished Lake District.
You will be working as part of key Engineering teams such as Structures, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Propulsion, Naval Architecture, Boat Control & Instrumentation and Communication Systems, each of which are responsible for the design and development of vital submarine structures, systems and equipment.
These varied roles will provide you with the opportunity to engage in a range of design activities, from detailed requirements and performance analysis, generating test procedures and reviewing evidence, right up to writing technical specifications for subcontracted equipment. You will also have exposure to major customers, as well as future opportunities to progress into engineering management or a technical specialist role.
We are looking for people who can be accountable and output driven. You will need to be flexible to meet changing business demands, open to new ideas and approaches, and willing to adapt in a programme environment where the Safety and Quality of our people, business and products is paramount.
