The Faraday Test Centre at BAE Systems in Rochester, Kent is a department that delivers a high class service performing design proving activities. These include EMC and Environmental testing and providing EMC design expertise. We are looking for an EMC engineer with experience of working in a UKAS approved EMC test laboratory. The role would include performing EMC tests to military and commercial specifications (MIL-STD-810, DO-160, DEF-STD 59-411), compiling test plans and procedures and also includes supervision and development of a dynamic EMC test department. 
 
This role provides the chance to work on mission-critical electronic systems (including flight and engine controls), electronic warfare and night vision systems, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors, secure networked communications equipment, geospatial imagery intelligence products and systems, mission management, and power-and energy-management systems.
