During the three-year Engineering Higher Apprenticeship you will develop a knowledge and understanding in a range of different engineering disciplines whilst gaining valuable experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering environments.
Information & Technology (IM&T) Developer Apprenticeship
The role of an Information & Technology (IM&T) Developer Apprentice involves assisting in the delivery of IT support to BAE Systems Maritime Naval Ships by helping to develop its IT systems. This can include providing a technical support service, or delivering and maintaining relevant people, process or system documentation, as in the Governance team. You will be required to work to deadlines and standards on a daily basis.
As a Commercial Higher Apprentice you will join a team whose role it is to ensure that proposals to BAE Systems’ customers are priced, developed and approved in an acceptable manner and to submit the associated offers.
Our Finance Higher Apprenticeship scheme aims to develop A-level or equivalent qualified individuals into Chartered Management Accountants with a broad understanding of all aspects of finance and how these fit into the wider business organisation.
As a Human Resources Higher Apprentice your will be responsible for all things 'people' related; supporting employees throughout their time with the business with anything from changing the way people work, to helping them through difficult personal or professional issues, to working with managers in the business to tackle complex business challenges.
As a Procurement and Supply Chain Higher Apprentice your role can extend to a huge range of related commercial activity such as influencing policy, financial analysis, engaging in contract law, and developing strategy to deliver services.
During a three-year Project Management apprenticeship you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of different projects by gathering information about time, cost and quality constraints, identifying and analysing data trends and driving actions to their conclusion.

When asked to do so, complete online aptitude tests.
From the date you are sent the tests, you have seven days to complete the online tests.
If you are successful you will be asked to attend an interview or an assessment centre, where you will be asked to complete a number of tasks. You will be sent all the details you need nearer the time.
