Intermediate Apprenticeships
If you have five GCSEs grade A*-E/ 3-9 including Maths, English, Science/ Technical subject or 2 National 4s including Maths and English (or equivalent) you can apply for one of our Intermediate Level Apprenticeships. Our Intermediate Apprenticeships offer technical opportunities to learn an essential specialist skill, such as scaffolding, painting or welding.

Advanced Apprenticeships
If you have five GCSEs or National 4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English and a Science you can apply for an Advanced Apprenticeship in engineering or technical functions. For Advanced Apprenticeships in business you will need five GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English, but a Science is not necessary. The Apprenticeships will generally lead to industry recognised qualifications that are equivalent to A Level, NC, HNC or HND.

Higher Apprenticeships
Our Higher Apprenticeships lead to qualifications equivalent to HND or Foundation Degree and are available in a full range of engineering, business and finance functions. To apply you’ll need to have five GCSEs or National 5 + Highers (or equivalent) including Maths, English and a Science for engineering roles. Science is not needed for business Higher Apprenticeships. You will also need UCAS points – the number required varies depending on the Apprenticeship.

Degree Apprenticeships
We offer Apprenticeships that lead to degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Management, Nuclear Engineering, Project Management, Software Engineering and Information Management and more. Each degree Apprenticeship has slightly different qualification and UCAS point requirements.
