The BAE Systems, Inc. Think Tank is an educational program in which BAE Systems partners with universities to provide students an opportunity to highlight their technical and entrepreneurial skills by preparing a white paper in response to a set of proposed topics. Selected white papers will receive a one-time cash prize and exposure to potential internship opportunities at BAE Systems.
Through this program, participants will:
- Get an insight into the world of proposal development
- Acquire experience on how to write white papers
- Develop skills for proposal preparation for funding request
- Analyze the business side of science and technology
- Interact with industry subject matter experts in different technical areas of interest to defense.
The participant must fulfill all the following requirements to participate in this program:
- US citizen
- Pursuing an undergraduate or early graduate degree in one of the areas of interest
- Active student at Alabama A&M or the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez

- Embedded Cyber Resilience: from Chips to Devices
- Radio frequency Fingerprinting
- Reconfigurable Microwave Photonics
- Guidance, Navigation and Control Subsystem for Autonomous Systems
