Reginald Robinson is senior vice president of Government Relations for BAE Systems, Inc., responsible for all legislative affairs and government relations for the company, which collectively employs more than 35,000 employees across major operations in the U.S., UK, and Sweden, that generated sales revenues of nearly $12.6 billion in 2022. Robinson is also a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. Board of Directors.
He previously served as the vice president of Executive Branch and International Government Relations, where he was the company’s primary liaison to the Executive Branch, including the Pentagon, State Department, Intelligence Community and the White House. He also supported the entire company covering foreign military sales and direct commercial sales through engagement with the U.S. government and foreign embassies.
Prior to joining BAE Systems, Robinson enjoyed a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring in 2014 at the rank of Colonel.
He served as a Group Commander, deployed Deputy Group Commander, Squadron Commander, and his extensive experience includes assignments as a planner and strategist on the Joint Staff, a military advisor to the President’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan at the State Department, as a military fellow in the House of Representatives, as well as a number of acquisitions and policy related roles.
He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, and holds a master’s degree in finance from Bentley University. His is also a graduate of Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal and numerous Superior Honor and Meritorious Honor awards from the Department of State.
