What are you most proud of from your experience in the military?
I proudly followed in my father’s footsteps. He served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years.
I spent time at many U.S. bases during my military career, including Norfolk Operations Base, Norfolk, VA; Andrews Air Force Base, MD; U.S. Naval Base Pearl Harbor, HI and Naval Supply Center Cheatham Annex, VA. However, I’m most proud of serving my country during Operation Desert Storm and supporting recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina.
What made you decide that BAE Systems was where you wanted to work?
BAE Systems and the U.S. Navy share similar core values of honor, courage and commitment.
I’m very proud to work for a company that is 100% committed to supporting all branches of our armed forces. The products and services provided by BAE Systems help to ensure the safety of our military worldwide. And personally, I go to work each day knowing my procurement support on various programs is critical to the needs of the engineers and developers supporting important national security missions.
Why is it important that our nation take time to recognize our active duty, reservists, military veterans and military families?
It’s vital to remember our military brothers and sisters who are fighting for our freedom domestically and abroad. To anyone reading who is serving, has served, or has loved ones serving, our country is very grateful for your sacrifices each and every day.
