BAE Systems is proud to remember, honor and support our military during National Military Appreciation Month.
May is one of our favorite times of year – a time when our commitment to our customers echoes with a rewarding resonance during National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM). BAE Systems, Inc. is proud to celebrate our military, veterans, and their families through our annual Remember. Honor. Support. (RHS) campaign.
Salute to Our Partners
We partner with organizations who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of military personnel and their families, throughout their military career and their transition into civilian life. Keep reading below to learn more about these organizations and how we partner with them.
Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is transforming the way America’s injured veterans are empowered, employed, and engaged in our communities. When wounded warriors are ready to start their next mission, WWP stands ready to serve.
United Through Reading (UTR) connects military families who are separated —for deployment or military assignment—by providing the bonding experience of shared story time. Since 2009, BAE Systems has been one of UTR’s biggest supporters and helped ensure that military members, Veterans, and their families could continue to remain connected and resilient through video-recorded story time.
The Mission Continues is dedicated to connecting veterans with under-resourced communities, empowering veterans to continue their service, and empowering communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is the national nonprofit organization providing comfort, care, and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one, regardless of their relationship to the deceased or the circumstances of the death.
Blue Star Families, founded by military spouses in 2009, is committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors and helping them overcome the isolation and alienation of frequent moves, deployments, and reduced support from the government. With more than 150,000 members in their network, including chapters and communities all over the world, Blue Star Families touches more than 1.5 million military family members every year.
