This fall, our Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion teams hit the road to attend three national outreach conferences hosted by the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. These events brought together thousands of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) students and professionals to network, learn, and grow. Hiring managers from across our company partnered with the Talent Acquisition team to meet with and interview prospective job candidates at the conferences.
This year, we sponsored several professional development workshops at all three events. The workshops invited conference participants to learn more about leadership in engineering and the professional opportunities available at our company.
In addition to hosting career booths and workshops at each of the conferences, we sponsored more than 30 current employees from across the company to attend the conferences as a professional development opportunity. Employees participated in a variety of professional development workshops and seminars, networking receptions, and hands-on demonstrations.
