Featuring a new variant for the AMPV

BAE Systems is debuting a new Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) concept variant at the 2018 Global Force Symposium. The Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) is a critically important program intended to replace the Vietnam-era M113 Family of Vehicles. The AMPV will provide U.S. Army Soldiers with superior survivability protection and all-terrain mobility to go anywhere, which are essential requirements for the battlefield. BAE Systems’ AMPV is a mature, low-risk and cost-effective solution that rapidly delivers continued combat overmatch capability for the Army. The vehicle’s versatility allows it to be configured into different variants to complete a variety of mission on the battlefield.
