Tailorable mission packages
Our undersea mission system payloads provide critical capabilities including autonomy, navigation, SIGINT, acoustic and RF communications, sensor processing, RF EW, acoustic IFF, and active acoustics. With a modular design to allow for precise mission customization, they are easily integrated with legacy systems and hardware including RF, acoustic, and optical transducers. Mission uses include intelligence preparation of the environment, seabed surveillance, harbor protection, infrastructure surveillance, oil and gas route survey, mine countermeasures, oceanographic data collection, and more. As a leader in systems engineering, we perform mission analysis and develop system architectures to meet growing customer needs.
Autonomy – At the very core of every tailorable payload combination, our mission computer offers autonomy capabilities that allow the UUV to function and make decisions. This includes autonomy capabilities that adhere to the Navy’s emerging UMAA standards.
Navigation – In addition to standard navigation sensors and techniques, novel approaches to navigation support low-power UUV transit.
SIGINT – Signals intelligence systems let you gain insight into adversaries' actions by collecting and analyzing electronic signals.
Acoustic and RF communications – Send, receive, and monitor both RF and acoustic underwater communications.
Sensor processing – Intelligent processing of available data enhances mission effectiveness.
RF EW – Next generation electronic support, protection, and attack capabilities.
Acoustic IFF – Acoustic Identification Friend or Foe features enable you to identify friendly forces and make informed decisions in critical situations.
Active acoustics – Compact, high-power low- and mid-frequency transducers and arrays for active acoustic target detection and tracking.
