Eurofighter Typhoon
Eurofighter Typhoon is the product of the investment and know-how of four European partner nations: the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, along with their leading aerospace defence companies
It is a partnership that brings together the combined strength of skills, technology, experience and investment to create and continually develop a world-class weapon system.

The partner companies are BAE Systems, Leonardo Aircraft Division and Airbus Defence & Space. Together they work with a supply chain that includes more than 400 supplier companies and employs over 100,000 people in Europe alone.

The main Eurofighter consortium industry partners work together as part of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH headquartered in Munich, Germany. Its role is to co-ordinate the industrial side of the programme. A single body for customers and governments has also been created. This is the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA). These two organisations work hand-in-hand to ensure the programme remains on track and standards are maintained.

The Eurofighter Typhoon EJ200 engine is the work of four global companies: Rolls-Royce from the UK, Avio from Italy, ITP for Spain and Germany’s MTU Aero Engines. They work together as EuroJet Turbo GmbH and this company is based in Munich.
