Apprenticeships in Lancashire

PCFS cohort lunch
The first cohort of 21 individuals on the Project Control Foundation Scheme have completed their five-year programme.

During their time on the Scheme, the trainees all completed a Lancaster University Honours Degree in Project Management delivered by Blackpool and Fylde College. To recognise their achievement Chris Boardman recently hosted a lunch in the Lightning Club at Warton for the trainees and representatives from the College including Principal, Pauline Whitehouse OBE and some of the college lecturers.

Their collective Honour Degree results were one of the most outstanding set of results that Lancaster University has seen with 18 of the 21 achieving either a First Class or Upper Second Degree. They are now working in a variety of full time roles across the business.

These individuals have helped shape and improve the Project Control Foundation Scheme throughout the last five years such that the Scheme has become a fundamental part of our development of our Project Control capability.
