Mapping and Charting Officer


You will provide geodata production and training support to GCS as well as checking geodata, supervising Mapping Technicians and providing on the job training for GCS personnel. You must be degree educated with a qualification in Surveying, Photogrammetry or Cartography and have had extensive experience in a mapping production environment.
 

Air Traffic Control (ATC) Pilot Control Unit Operator


In this role you will routinely operate as a specialist in the provision of realistic simulation of Air Traffic Control operations in the following ATM simulators: Aerodrome, Radar and none Radar environments. This involves data input via keyboard and simulated real-time radio (Receive / Transmit – R/T) communications during ATC simulations training. You'll assist in the preparation and production of training material, assist in phraseology training for ATC students and prepare simulators and skills exercises. You'll need to have had extensive experience working as a Pilot Control Unit Operator in ATC Training and have thorough knowledge of ATC regulations and procedures.
 

Chief Metrologist


Functions as the line manager for the Primary Calibration Squadron of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Metrology and Calibration Program. You will apply measurement science, mathematics and physics, to develop, document and maintain calibration systems, procedures and methods for electrical, RF/microwave, physical dimensional, optical, temperature test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) based on analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements. You will evaluate new calibration methods and procedures, use statistics to analyse measurement standards and processes and recommend calibration standards and TMDE. You will also manage the calibration laboratory/department accreditation and quality systems. Applicants should hold a University Degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. physics, electrical or electronic engineering/mechanical engineering) or other acceptable qualifications as agreed by the Royal Saudi Air Force. Applicants will also have six years relevant practical experience, involved in metrology, calibration or other allied functions with at least three years’ experience at a Primary Laboratory level.
 

Calibration Technician


This role is to calibrate and repair a wide range of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) and to apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics and electronics to calibrate, measure and test TMDE in the Electrical, Physical Dimensional, Optical, and Temperature disciplines to ensure measurement accuracy. You will be involved in and have experience of analysis and interpretation of technical data, including block, schematic, wiring, and logic diagrams.
 
Other responsibilities will include identifying and utilising appropriate measurement procedures and techniques, performing corrective actions to diagnose and rectify measurement problems and using, caring for and repairing TMDE to laboratory standards.  You will also train Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Metrology Technicians from Level 3 Qualified to Level 7 Qualified, in accordance with RSAF Training Manuals.   You will be educated to a General Secondary Education Certificate  (Tawjihiyah) level with a minimum 80% pass and a Secondary Vocational School Diploma in a relevant subject.  You will require five years practical calibration experience involving diagnostic and rectification work.
 

Aviation Medicine Specialist


The main duties of this position are to deliver aircrew physiological training, conduct initial and periodic medical examination of cadets and serving aircrew, and convene aircrew medical boards. Candidates should be registered as a medical practitioner and have a qualification in aviation medicine to be considered for the post.
 

Aeromedical Male Nursing Specialist


This job is as a registered general nurse in an Occupational Health setting. You’ll be responsible for managing the clinical area during aircrew medicals, provide first aid lectures and provide emergency care should those skills be required. You must be a Registered General Nurse to be considered for this position.
 

Supply Specialists


We’re looking for people with experience of item management, promotion of concepts and processes such as Total Quality Management, quality auditing and lean process development. You will also be capable of monitoring the status and effectiveness of material support as well as planning for and determining current and future requirements to meet customer needs. Experience of logistics and warehousing and proficiency Microsoft Office EXCEL is essential.
 

Weapons Director Pilot Control Unit Operator

You'll need to have had extensive experience working as a Pilot Control Unit Operator in Weapons Director Training and have thorough knowledge of Weapons Director regulations and procedures.
