Graduate Development Framework (GDF):

The Graduate Development Framework (GDF) is our main graduate entry route into Engineering (which includes Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, System Engineering and Industrial Engineering) and Business functions (which includes Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Human Resources, Finance and Marketing).

The GDF will support your transition into our business and your initial development. Following an induction, it includes on-the-job training and external learning, along with a Graduate Development Programme to enhance personal effectiveness and business acumen. There may be opportunities for secondments to other Business Locations to give you greater business exposure in line with your development plan. Where possible, we will also actively support you to achieve relevant professional qualifications. We also run a mentoring scheme, which enables you to discuss your career development with your Corporate Mentor (one of our most senior managers).

In addition, you will be able to access a range of training courses, from technical to interpersonal skills, through our Learning Resource Centre’s and Virtual University. Graduates on the programme are expected to enjoy greater professional fulfilment, be better prepared to take a position and develop more defined career goals as a result of taking part in the programme.

Co-operative Training Programme:

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, in conjunction with Saudi Universities, is sponsoring a number of positions annually for the placement of undergraduate students into the company’s operations Kingdom-wide.
The purpose of the programme is to enable the students to gain essential practical experience in addition to the classroom and laboratory-based teaching associated with their particular engineering or professional discipline.

The co-operative training programme provides the student with exposure to the industrial and commercial environment. The programme seeks to blend classroom and theory with shop-floor experience.
