Business transformation

What processing activities do you undertake that include my information?
We may need to undertake processing activities in connection with business changes or planned activities, whether internally or externally focused.
For example, this could include:
  • planning, managing and carrying out restructuring or redundancies or other change programmes (including appropriate consultation, selection, alternative employment searches and related management decisions); and
  • planning, due diligence and implementation in relation to a commercial transaction or service transfer involving the Company that impacts on your relationship with the Company (for example mergers and acquisitions or a transfer of your employment.)

What categories of information are included in these processing activities?
To run the processes set out above, we process staff related data, data related to your engagement with the Company, recruitment data, regulatory data, vetting data, remuneration and benefits data, leave information, HR processes data, and employment claims, complaints and disclosures data. 
We may also process sensitive information (such as criminal records information), to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
What is the reason for these processing activities?
The Company has a legitimate interest in managing its business operations in the most effective way and we carry out these activities in order to manage our business.  
In addition, the processing of your sensitive information is needed for carrying out our employment law obligations.  These may include obligations to inform or consult and to follow appropriate redundancy or transfer processes.
To the extent that you did not get this information from me, how did you collect it?
Some of the information processed in these activities may be generated by the Company. This would usually include HR and line management.
We may also receive information from other sources as set out in this Notice.
Who do you share this information with?
This information may be shared internally for the purposes described above.
In addition, some of your information will be shared externally with any potential transferee as needed; including with any external consultants we may engage from time to time to assist with business transformation activities; and as otherwise set out in this Notice.
