What processing activities do you undertake that include my information?

Further, if you are attending a meeting which is classified or requires a certain level of security clearance, we will process information relating to your security clearance or classification in order to ensure that you have the appropriate clearance to attend the meeting.

To do so, we process your identity information and details relating to your security clearance or classification.
We may also process sensitive information (such as criminal records information) to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
What is the reason for these processing activities?
We use your information to ensure classified information is protected appropriately in accordance with applicable laws, whether Australia or otherwise. To do this, we need to manage your access to classified material or material which requires security clearance. This includes material designated as classified by foreign governments.
To the extent that you did not get this information from me, how did you collect it?
Some of this information will come from you.
Other information may come from clearance or government agencies (including foreign governments), customers, suppliers and other business partners.
We may also receive information from other sources as set out in this Notice.
