BAE Systems Ship Repair is “Anchored in Safety”, providing customers, crews, subcontractors, and employees a safe and clean working environment.  BAE Systems Ship Repair provides full-service facilities located on the East, West, and Gulf Coasts of the United States, as well as Hawaii.  BAE Systems Ship Repair has developed proven processes and skilled trade sharing to agilely meet all customer requirements.

BAE Systems Ship Repair has a total of seven fully equipped facilities providing the following services:
     Repair
     Modernization
     Maintenance
     Fabrication
     Conversion
     Life extension

The Jacksonville and Mobile shipyards provide new construction capabilities to commercial customers.

Our shipyards footprint is utilized to perform work onboard and in several shop facilities, as well as alongside piers and while in dry dock, to get the vessel completed and underway within customer cost and schedule requirements.

The primary customer of BAE Systems Ship Repair is the United States Navy through a series of multi-ship, multi-option contracts.  These contracts are central to the U.S. Navy’s life cycle maintenance and service life objectives.  

Contracts include:

     Complex Program Management
     Maintenance, Repair and Modernization Planning and Execution
     Integration of Third Party Activities
     Depot, Pier side and Emergent Maintenance
     Support of Surge Readiness

At anytime, BAE Systems Ship Repair personnel are actively engaged on all classes of U.S. Navy Surface Combatants.
