The BAE Systems Southeast Shipyard in Jacksonville, Florida, is conveniently located two miles (3 kilometers) from the Atlantic Ocean, at the intersection of the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Intracostal Waterway. A river depth of 12.5 meters (41 feet), with no overhead obstructions, provides customers with easy deepwater access from both the Caribbean and the Atlantic.
