Diversity and Inclusion Employees   We value diversity because it benefits our people and helps our business grow.   A diverse workforce, with employees drawn from all backgrounds encourages innovation, improves productivity and brings us closer to our customers. We focus on attracting and retaining talented people from diverse backgrounds, and helping them to develop their skills and build a successful career with us. We aim to create an inclusive environment where every one of our employees is valued and has the opportunity to fulfill their potential and contribute to our business success. Diversity and inclusion help us create a positive employment experience and to be known as an employer of choice. We have more than 1,000 apprentices on average in 2010 / 2011, working on projects across the UK. They play an essential role in the business, and some of our senior leaders started out as apprentices. As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we aim to increase the number of female apprentices.
