About the game

2016 game ‘STONGHOLD’ - Two alliances, red and blue, compete to score as many boulders (foam dodge balls) into the tower of the opposing alliance as they can during a two minute, 15 second match. The alliances are made up of three robots each. In addition to their tower, each team has a line of defenses. Alliances score points by weakening the tower and defenses by scoring boulders and by successfully passing through a defense. In the last 15 seconds of the game, alliances may also get further points by having their robots park on the ramp at the base of their tower or by climbing their tower. The alliance with the highest score at the end of the match wins.

See the FIRST game documentation on the game for further information.
