Louise joined the BAE Systems graduate development programme in 1995, after graduating from Newcastle University with BA Hons. in Economics and Business Management. During the early part of her career she worked in a variety of generalist and specialist HR roles, in different parts of the business, including Organisation Development, Change Management and Graduate Development.
Following the merger between BAE Systems and Marconi, Louise led the integration process for the Type 45 and Future Carrier programmes before moving to the Defence Information business in 2000, where she worked as a member of the management team to develop the strategy for Network Enabled Capability and the creation of the Eurosystems Joint Venture.
In 2004 Louise became HR Director for Shared Services and Chair for Corporate Air Travel Ltd.. She moved back to the North West in September 2007 to join the Military Air and Information business where she undertook several HR leadership roles in the Support and Defence Information businesses, before being appointed HR Director for MAI in 2013.
In 2014, Louise joined the BAE Systems Applied Intelligence board as HR Director, responsible for all aspects of the people and organisation plan.
Louise’s home is in Lancashire with her husband and twin sons.
