Our Team - Kevin Taylor
Managing Director
Kevin is the Managing Director of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, appointed in October 2014.

Previously BAE Systems Group Strategy Director, Kevin has held Executive Committee (EC) responsibility for Applied Intelligence for the past two years and remains an EC member.

In January 2011, Kevin was appointed the Managing Director of the Military Air & Information business, which is BAE Systems’ largest business in the UK.
 He was appointed Managing Director of the Military Air Solutions business in 2008, delivering military aircraft related through-life capability to the UK Armed Forces and a number of export customers.

Before that Kevin, who has a physics degree from Oxford University, held a number of senior positions including Managing Director for Air Mission Support and Services, MD of the Air Support business, MD of the CS&S MASS business, MD of the Hawk Programme and MD of the Astute Submarine Programme.

External positions: Kevin is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He also holds an Honorary Fellowship at the University of Central Lancashire.

Career highlights: Kevin originally designed very high frequency components in the Brimstone Missile, and later became Project Director. He later grew the Military Air Support business to double in size and lay the foundations for the successful Tornado ATTAC and Typhoon TAS contracts.
