About Us

Electronic Systems is a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of mission-critical products – from flight and engine controls to electronic warfare and night visions systems, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors to networked communications equipment.

Our cutting-edge technology is used in 100 countries, by 280 airlines and by 25 air forces. As well as creating a HybriDrive propulsion system that powers more than 2,000 buses in the US and UK, we've also developed the new helmet system for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. This allows the pilot to aim the plane’s weapon systems with a simple turn of the head.

We’re constantly looking for new ways to improve things. Take our new advanced combat helmet system for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. Up until now, fighter pilots have had to manoeuvre into position before aiming for their targets. But with our new helmet system, they can now lock on to multiple targets with a simple turn of the head. It’s set to be a game changer in air-to-air combat. If you have the imagination and determination to be involved in real, life-changing innovations every day, than you'll be a perfect fit for this business.

My favourite thing about working for Electronic Systems is that I am involved in mission critical electronic programmes which I really enjoy. I feel that I am doing important work on a daily basis by helping my team create a product that is at the cutting edge of technology and has a legitimate use and need within the avionics and aerospace markets.
