Last week we held a roundtable discussion at The Times’ offices in London to examine the exploitation and growth of the UK’s engineering capabilities

Nigel Whitehead, Group Managing Director and Simon Howison, Engineering Projects Director were joined by Ian King, Business and City Editor of The Times, Philip Greenish, CEO of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Jo Lopes, Head of Technical Excellence at Jaguar Land Rover, Professor John Perkins, Chief Scientific Adverse at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, Professor Jeff Magee, dean of the faculty of engineering at Imperial College and David Bott from the Technology Strategy Board.
