BAE Systems will provide engineering and technical services to support the U.S. Marine Corps’ air traffic control systems under a readiness and sustainment contract worth up to $30 million. The contract was awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center’s Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), based at St. Inigoes, Maryland, which BAE Systems has supported for three decades.

ROCKVILLE, Maryland – BAE Systems will provide engineering and technical services to support the U.S.

The company will perform a range of services, including systems design and analysis, on-site technical assistance, and training. The systems encompass expeditionary equipment to control future and fielded air traffic navigation, integration, and coordination, as well as precision radars.

"These systems are vital to ensuring Marine Corps readiness," said Richard Anderson, vice president and general manager for integrated technical solutions at BAE Systems. "We’ve supported NAWC-AD for more than 30 years, and we continue to make significant contributions to its critical role as a center for engineering excellence."

The contract includes an initial one-year term plus four option years. If all of the options are exercised, the total value could reach approximately $30 million. The work will be performed at the Naval Air Station at Pax River, Maryland and at other U.S. military bases around the world.
