Employees new to BAE Systems at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP), Radford, Virginia, got to have a little fun in their first month on the job.  BAE Systems put up eight billboard advertisements around the New River Valley to let the community know that they were honored, excited, and ready to take over as the new operating contractor at RFAAP.  Seventy-four employees showed their excitement by joining the Radford Race, a contest where teams of two raced across five counties to locate and photograph the billboards.

There were extra prizes for creativity so employees brought family members, flags, and much more to show their spirit. The top three teams to finish received a branded BAE Systems jacket. One lucky team, the Road Hogs, won the randomly drawn grand prize, an iPad for each employee.

BAE Systems is committed to the successful management and operation of the plant, which isn't possible without this skilled and energetic workforce.
