An egg-cellent effort!

Egg-cellent effort image
Employees across some of our sites - Frimley, RAF Marham, Samlesbury and Warton - were very busy in the weeks running up to Easter, ensuring that the local communities received some Easter joy!

Nearly 1,500 Easter eggs were collected and distributed amongst the various communities surrounding our sites by the Employee Fundraising & Volunteering committees.

RAF Marham kindly donated 200 Easter eggs to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, handing them over at an event which took place on the base on 11 April. Attending the event was founder Nikki Scott’s son Kai and his Grandad, John Robinson who commented: “We can't thank you enough for what you have all done."

Help for Heroes were presented with Frimley’s contribution on 15 April, where they collected just short of 200 eggs.

Across Warton and Samlesbury sites, almost 1,000 Easter eggs were collected and, with the help of the Packing & Transport department at Samlesbury, all the eggs were safely distributed to various charities and organisations surrounding our sites, including: Byng House and Lister House for the Royal British Legion; Intact Preston; Derian House; local food banks; and women refuges.

A fantastic effort by everyone involved!
