Crown Prince Honours BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

At the official opening of the 29th Annual Janadriah Cultural Festival outside Riyadh HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Crown Prince and Minister of Defence, honoured BAE Systems for their continued support of the Festival.

As part of the opening ceremony Prince Salman met Guy Griffiths, MD of BAE Systems’ International Group, and Andy Carr, MD of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia. HRH thanked them for the Company’s participation and presence at the Annual Festival which is expected to be attended by ten million visitors.
Andy Carr commented: “I am very happy to receive this honour on behalf of BAE Systems. We are very keen supporters of the festival and as a company that is over 60% Saudi naturally we want to be part of Saudi public activities. They offer us a great opportunity to showcase our products and services as well as letting the Saudi public know about our role in transferring technology into the Kingdom and our 50 year Saudi heritage.”
Monther Tayeb, Director of PR and Communications for BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, added: “In keeping with position as an innovative company we have developed a new stand for this year. This includes exhibits from our Saudi Economic Offset Companies and I hope that everyone who visits it will learn more about our global company and its partners in Saudi Arabia.”
