Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: BAE Systems Saudi Arabia participated in the Third Careers Day exhibition at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on Wednesday 7 March 2012 at Rabigh city.
Representatives of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources department answered questions and enquiries from a number of KAUST students interested in a career with BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.
Participating in the Careers Day was part of the company’s ongoing efforts in supporting the recruitment, retention, training, development and capability building of Saudis Nationals in various disciplines and roles,
Faisal Al-Shamrani, Resourcing Manager at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia said “BAE Systems Saudi Arabia takes pride in its commitment towards the employment of the largest possible number of local individuals in various functions across the company. Currently approximately 60% of our workforce in the Kingdom are Saudi Nationals. . This has earned the company the Prince Naif Saudisation Award and Best Business Environment for Job Localisation Award at Dubai last year.

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia endeavors to rely on Saudi Nationals and providing them with training to hone their skills in various areas according to labour market needs. This stems from the company’s firm belief in the importance of establishing a local employee base.
