Our Strategy
Our Australian strategy summarises what we need to do over the next five years to retain our market share in a shrinking defence budget environment and then position ourselves for the opportunities that lie beyond.

Our strategy aligns with our company’s global strategy but recognises the unique factors affecting Australia – an increasing preference for Military Off the Shelf and Commercial Off the Shelf solutions, a continued emphasis on short-term competitive contracting, and a reduced operational tempo.

The essence of our strategy is to maintain our position as a significant industrial capability provider with targeted campaigns in commercial and adjacent markets. We are here to provide capability to the Australian Defence Force and support that capability wherever and whenever we can. Supporting Australia’s defence remains our core business.
