For more than three decades, Land Systems South Africa has been the globally recognised leader in the design, development and manufacture of combat and operationally-proven mine protected armoured vehicles. In parallel to its manufacturing capability, Land Systems South Africa manages an extensive nationwide customer support network for an ever-increasing and continually updated line of in-service products.

Land Systems South Africa is a South African company, jointly owned by BAE Systems (75%) and the South African Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) Group, DGD Technologies (2001) Pty Ltd (25%).  It comprises two divisions; Land Systems OMC and Land Systems Gear Ratio. Land Systems South Africa's factories and headquarters are situated near Johannesburg. The company employs over 1000 people and generated ZAR1.2bn revenues in 2006.
