International Product Support (IPS) and Logistics Engineering
IPS
IPS is responsible for supporting systems that are internationally deployed. The main focus is on:
Spares - underwrite the technical certification on spares
Orders - order spares from suppliers and export to international clients
Delivery - high priority focus on on-time delivery to meet client requirements
Warrantees - adhere to warrantees in place
Training - qualified instructors available to provide professional training courses. Training can be in theatre and vary from Operator training to Technical training
Other functions include verification during production, stock hold for clients and QA buy-off before delivery.
Logistics Engineering
Land Systems OMC provides Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) on products manufactured in-house and provide ILS as a service to the industry.
Support and services are provided for:
- Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)
Including preparation of Integrated Support Plans, Costing of ILS Process, Management of ILS Programmes and Logistic Support Engineering
- Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
Including preparation of Logistic Support Analysis Plans, Management and Conduct of LSA Programme, Supportability Analysis, Spares Modelling and Task Analysis.
- Publication documents
Wide range of technical skills available to produce documentation at a very high quality. These include Technical Authors, Technical Illustrators, Desktop Publishers (DTP) and Illustrated Parts Cataloque (IPC) compilers.
