Hawk over Capetown
The company’s first success was the 1995 order for 11 new Jetstream 41’s placed by Airlink, the Southern African regional feeder airline. Since then, BAE Systems has gone on to win significant military and security business, including the contract to modernise the SA Air Force’s advanced jet trainer and fighter fleets with Hawk and Gripen respectively.
