The ATC has several key staff who have decades of experience in stealth technology. This is built on the deep understanding of the interaction of electromagnetic waves with structures that comes from mathematical modelling, but also arises from direct experience of Low Observable (LO) design and Radar Cross Section (RCS) reduction projects from concepts to hardware components.
The experience covers land, sea and air vehicles, antennas, buildings, and random clutter sources such as land and sea surfaces.
We can offer consultancy in: Design from scratch for low signature, RCS reduction of existing vehicles or components, RCS control by shaping and absorbing materials, RCS reduction of antenna installations by antenna design and use of Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS), design and manufacture of active and passive FSS, RCS enhancement for improved tracking and peacetime operation, active RCS modification, RCS treatments of engine air intakes and jet pipes, and the setting up and management of strealth hardware demonstration programmes.
