RAVEn (Repair And Visualisation Environment) is a software tool that is a general purpose pre-processor and visualisation environment for Finite Element Modelling. It is designed to bridge the gap between the CAD systems and computer modelling tools.
RAVEn (Repair And Visualisation Environment) is a software tool that is a general purpose pre-processor and visualisation environment for Finite Element Modelling. It is designed to bridge the gap between the CAD systems and computer modelling tools. This is required because most CAD models are not constructed with modelling in mind and deficiencies in the export process mean that the geometry isn't suitable for modelling without further manipulation. Instead of having to go back to the CAD system the user can prepare the geometry with RAVEn. It is also used as a general purpose visualisation tool for multidimensional datasets.
