Software for evaluating system electromagnetic compatibility

MESAF (Multilevel EMC System Analysis Framework) is a software package which can run on a PC for through-lifecycle assessment of the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of any system. A visual output of the worst case paths for energy coupling in the system is created, and users can interactively modify and improve their design. Outputs are also available as tables which can easily be included in other documentation. Development of MESAF has taken place in the ATC over the last five years, in close co-operation with EMC engineers to ensure that it is easy to use. The software can be applied to any system or product with EMC issues, or where EMC compliance has to be demonstrated.
