BAE Systems has developed an Australian capability to deliver Night Vision Imaging System enhancements for the Australian Defence Force and the commercial aviation industry.
Under a license agreement with Oxley Avionics, UK, BAE Systems will enhance Night Vision Goggle (NVG) performance by applying a systems approach to lighting harmonisation. This will combat potential NVG performance reductions caused by incompatible platform and ground equipment lighting. The enhancements can be applied under widely varying night and day conditions without degrading operational performance.
