Pinzgauer II
BAE Systems Land Systems has extended its range of 6x6 vehicles with the addition of the Pinzgauer II. With a Euro IV compliant 6 cylinder 145kW output engine, enhanced suspension and flexible armour solutions this new product delivers what you would expect from the Pinzgauer with increased mobility, payload, performance and protection.
The Pinzgauer II remains as versatile as the standard Pinzgauer and its design allows for both a Bonnet Out Front version “Pinzgauer Mantis” or the more traditional Cab Forward design “Pinzgauer II”.
The base vehicle of either variant can be adaptable to special purposes, whether as a protected troop carrier, or high-volume application. The base platform may also be fitted with a shelter body or other specialist equipment.
Taking the DNA of the original vehicle, the Pinzgauer II has been re-styled and ergonomically repackaged, The height and width of the vehicle has been increased to not only allow for extra internal volume, but to also increase driver situational awareness whilst maintaining key features such as the ever-important air transportability requirements.
