CATS Constructive Wargame Simulator

CATS Constructive Wargame System (CWS) is a single automated training system usable by any unit from Corps down to the smallest entity.

CATS CWS offers a simple "generic" training environment as well as a real-world mission specific rehearsal. It can be used for training all types of military operations from conventional war to OOTW. CATS CWS consists of a number of integrated products allowing training for strategic and tactical level.

The suite permits the exercise direction with the precise tool for the trained audience; for the higher echelons the TYR system can be used, thus saving on system operation staff
while maintaining realistic scenarios. For the lower echelons the TCT system satisfi es the need of ground truth details. When combining the two models, several tiers can be trained at the same time for unsurpassed full chain of event training.

The CATS wargaming platforms fully support distributed exercises. Cross-domain training is achieved through HLA and DIS gateways. All this results in great flexibility for users and ensure that training objectives are met.

CATS TYR – Strategic and Operational Level

With the focus on higher command levels, TYR is a Computer Assisted Exercise (CAX) system supporting both civil and military scenarios; training and practise decision making, operations preparation and execution. TYR supports Operations Other Than War (OOTW) with special emphasis on Peace Support Operations (PSO).

CATS TCT – Tactical Command Trainer

The Tactical Command Trainer is a battle simulator designed for Brigade, Battalion and Company staff training. The TCT enables the commanders, staff and subordinate commanders to train in a safe, controlled, and realistic synthetic environment.
