The Public Affairs team at BAE Systems in Warton booked some time out recently to visit nearby Freckleton Church of England Primary School bringing a good news story on some good new stories.
The Team first met the children at a school assembly, and then presented the schools Literacy Co-ordinator, Mrs Sandra Smith, with a cheque for 350 to support the purchase of new books for the library and work on its refurbishment.
Malcolm Adams, Head of Public Affairs for BAE Systems at Warton said: It is a real pleasure to visit schools local to our sites and see how even a modest amount of investment can make a significant difference. We are delighted to have been able to help and wish the school much success in their continued development of their library facility.
